NESline Slide & Dock Security Cases have been awarded the Silver Medal by the British Inventors Society at the annual Invention Show in London October 14^th through 17^th

The NESline Security Cases have been recognized at the WRTI Invention of the Year Competition 2009. The Wessex Round Table of  Inventors (www.wrti.co.uk) organize a yearly competition. This year the NESline series were successfully entered into the competition. The certificate is available for download, click here.

The lifelock premium was featured as a prize in a contest in an issue of Panaroma Magazine (dutch) in june 2009. Click here for the article (pdf)

The Nesline cases were shown at the UK Trade & Investment Defence & Security Organisation infrastucture showcase 2009 in Aldershot, UK. The many visitors included military attachés of U.N. countries and the top of the British military.

According to a study by the National Metrology Institute of the Netherlands (VSL) LED-lamps can not live up to promises made by manufacturers. The measured light output in lumens is much lower than advertised. Typically only 25% of the advertised flux was achieved. The total power consumption was higher than advertised. Because of Power factor correction, the actual total power consumption of a typical 5W Led lamp can be as high as 25 Watts. Furthermore, the claim of a life expectancy of 20,000 or even 50,000 hours has not yet been tested or proven in any way. This means that the CFL lamp is still the preferred choice in terms of light production, light quality and power consumption. Read the full article here (dutch) or here (English).
